Tamales Fiesta
This Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 1 pm, there will be a fundraiser here at MonteBello B&B Inn for Johanna Cordero. Johanna is in need of funding to finish her degree here at Iowa State University. She has one year left and she needs help to pay off her student loan. We will be having a Tamales Fiesta featuring tamales, Mexican rice, flan and more. There will also be free salsa dancing lessons. Tickets are $20 per adult, $15 per ISU student, and $10 for kids under 12 years old. For more information and to buy tickets, please call 515-296-2181.

The Yucatán Room is here!
Hello Friends,
After weeks of remodeling, we added a new room in March of this year in what was once the conference room here at MonteBello B&B Inn. It is the Yucatán Room. It features the vibrant colors of the tropics in it's décor. Since it is on the third floor, it receives a lot of light from its five windows, which makes the colors of the room stand out. The daylight makes it seem as if you were on the beach in the bright sunlight. If you are traveling our way, please stop by and take your well-deserved rest in this little slice of "sun, sand and ocean".
